School education is considered as one of the most significant factors in one’s career, especially the 12th standard exam results are considered crucial for one’s college education and career too in India.

Unlike European countries, the home schooling is not encouraged in India, and thus 12 years of school education is indeed considered imperative in the country. There are many authoritative bodies in India governing and regularizing the school education in the country, starting right from the primary education to higher secondary level, such as NCERT, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the National Institute of Open Schooling, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), state government boards, and autonomous schools boards.

Kindergarten Schools

Nowadays beyond education, it has become an integral part in a child’s life to get exposure and get trained before getting into the 1st grade, there are different level of kindergarten schools though, comprising nursery levels, lower-kindergarten, and upper kindergarten levels. Usually the pre-kindergarten level consists of nursery schools, and play schools, whereas the upper-kindergarten includes grades up to age 3. In India, the CBSE kindergartens, Kendriya Vidyalaya which would fall under the central government schools in the governance of Ministry of Human Resource Development would be ranked first in the kindergartens schools category. However, plenty of matriculation schools, private schools have created a huge momentum regarding the kindergarten cadre. Working people percentage have increased tremendously, hence most of the parents would fall into the working category in India, thus getting their kids into kindergarten would ease their burden and further would help to pursue their work, this is an underlying reason for enormous rise of kindergarten schools in India.

CBSE Schools

The CBSE schools are widespread all over the country, and has always renowned for its high standard and quality, which is always brought to limelight on debate with the ICSE board. But in India, CBSE board is much more popular than the ICSE, the CBSE board is a self-financing body, which was initially established as the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education, but later in the year 1962, it was reconstituted finally as the central board of education, involving Ajmer, Central India, Bhopal, and Vindhya Pradesh. All the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas, private schools that in turn requesting their affiliations to CBSE, etc… are affiliated under the CBSE. Recently in the year 2011, it has also gone international, implementing its pilot project in about 25 schools for I and IX classes in the Middle-East and South Asian countries, like Malaysia, Oman, Japan, United Arab Emirates, and many more. This clearly depicts the academic excellence of CBSE, not only in the country, but internationally too.

Plenty of private schools falling under the state and matriculation board could be found in everywhere in India, indeed the number have gone higher during these days, as the demand curve is rising consistently with increasing population. The government schools are now undergoing a positive growth and the growth rate is been influenced by the few rank holders from these schools, and promising the India government’s educational enhancements and variety of options available to the students, and most importantly the amazing educational facilities that are enabled to students who would fall under the below poverty status, and most backward regions, etc... have made the government schools to compete in the education competition.
